Earlier this week two of my very good friends and I all went to Cracker Barrel to eat. During our lunch my friend B mentioned something about a guy who was keeping journals for each of his kids so that when he died he would have memories to give them. So I decided that I would start a daily jounral of sorts, maybe no one will ever want to read it, and maybe they will. Either way I'll feel better knowing that somehow my life was documented and that someday my children may just read this and smile. Think back on all the fun times we've had together and laugh. I should start by telling you what's going on in the world, who I am, and such. My name is Tina and currently I am nineteen years old. I don't really feel much different than I did when I was sixteen. I moved into my own apartment at age 18 because my mother moved in with a guy she met online in Frankfort. I think it was a mistake and that she moved too fast, and I think now she is regretting it. I kept my own apartment for 8 months before making a stupid move to help someone else.

My "friend" Jacquie was graduating from highschool in may of 2008, and her parents were moving to Utah. They were leaving their house behind to move on, but Jacquie didn't want to and she was afraid of living alone. She wanted to make sure that she would be financially secure. So she asked my friend Megan, and I to move in with her and split the bills. I was reluctant at first, but finally I gave in. Megan had already moved all of her stuff in, and I finally finished moving mine. Everything went alright at first, but then Jacquie went on 'budget' kicks, and she would tell us that we were wrong, that decisions we made were ignorant. She never said it this bluntly. After one fight she initiated with me over a water hose, I realized that it was all pointless. Some people you can't reason with. I started making plans to move. I told Megan about these plans and she agreed with me. She decided to move out too.
:::THE NEXT DAY:::
Jacquie had her grandma come over and yell at Megan and me for not being good friends, although Jacquie had gone through my things and had worn Megans shorts around the house without her permission. I didn't trust her, and after the "intervention" I knew that I had to leave. Megan and I were given an ultimatum, we had a week to straighten our act or be forced out. Legally they couldn't have done that, because we paid bills, but instead of fighting Megan and I tried to take a higher road and just find another place to stay. We left the house the next day to go see my sister, because my mom was visiting her. When we came back the day after there was a note taped between our bedroom doors. After 2 days of this 'week' we had been kicked out.

It didn't matter very much though because Megan and I found an amazing 2 bedroom duplex. Our two kittens are allowed to run freely in the house too, instead of being locked in a room like they had to be at Jacquie's. We've made it through the summer in one piece, and now our semester in college has started. I'm majoring in nursing at the local community college. I want to be a family practicioner, but the prereqs are awful. They're sooo boring.

Anyway I've been awake since 5:00 am working on research papers for English, so I'm a bit sleepy. Unfortunatley I'm going to have to cut this post short (I know it's not really THAT short, but still) I am off to find a comfy pillow, and blanket. Perferably something that I can cuddle with too.
Goodnight
